We are looking for an QA Chapter Lead to join our growing team in our Budapest office.

As a QA Chapter Lead at Play'n GO, you will:


  • Experienced individual that manages and oversees the daily performance of the chapter
  • Functions as the escalation point for QA Engineers
  • Ensures the testers implement and follow best practices to prevent defects. 
  • Synchronise with global team on strategy and planning for test automation and testing tools. 
  • Ensures chapter’s / team’s  compliance to the agreed tools, policy, processes and guidelines for development organisation  
  • Facilitate the communication between team members, since members can be located in several cross functional teams 
  • Ensures standards and innovation technologies in his/her areas 
  • Advocates best QA practices
  • On a certain percentage, work within a squad as tester. 
  • Encourages direct reports for self-development, mentoring them in both personally and professionally 
  • Manages team to ensure high performance by meeting/aligning business goals
  • Upholds and advocates the Company values and adherence to Company rules and regulations.
  • Ensures team’s alignment to the Play'n GO culture
  • Communicates and leads change
  • Focuses the team on the effective execution of delivery and strategy
  • Ensures team’s compliance with processes and aligns activities
  • Regularly provides and receives open and constructive feedback on performance, behaviour and skills.
  • Conducts performance reviews according to the company’s current policies and processes and in cooperation with Human Resources and Reporting Manager.
  • Conducts salary reviews according to the company’s current policies and processes and in cooperation with Human Resources and Reporting Manager.
  • Escalates employee issues to Human Resources
  • Drives recruitment activities for the team
  • Enhances team’s competence and skills through training plans


Our QA Chapter Lead MUST have:

  • At least five years of experience in a QA or Testing role
  • At least five years of experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in Automation Testing
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies
  • Strong leadership abilities and management skills
  • Confident stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to adhere to deadlines
  • A strong desire for continuous learning
  • Superb English communication skills
