Using state-of-the-art technologies and the Agile methodology, our Development Chapter Lead will be responsible for one of the Backend team in Budapest, working on the game engine and also delivering games. In this position the Employee will report to the Development manager of Budapest and his main duties include the following functions but are not limited to:

Main responsibilities:

People Management

  • Spend on building up expertise and developing chapter (approx6 members) by:
    • encouraging for self-development
    • coaching and mentoring in both personal and professional
    • ensuring training opportunities are available as required by chapter members
  • Drive performance management in cooperation with HR, Development Manager and squads
  • Has an active role in effecting the agile way of working: Cross Teams, Chapters
  • Functions as an ambassador for culture change and is a role model in terms of the new way of working
  • Participate in recruitment projects for his/her own team

Technical Management

  • Proposing and contributing to strategic level of development 
  • Define goals for chapter
  • Ensures standards and innovation technologies in our technology stack: C#, .NET, SQL

Stakeholder Management

  • Working together with Product Owners and team members in both local and global level to ensure proper optimized delivery and improve capabilities of the projects

Required qualifications, skills and experience:

  • At least five (5) years of development working experience 
  • Have already managed or mentored a team of 5+
  • Able to communicate perfectly in both written and spoken English
  • Is focused on collaboration: Helps others to achieve common success
  • Ability to motivate others with a positive attitude
  • Is curious and always look out for innovation opportunities in his/her focus area
  • Has a mindset that focuses on CI
  • Good and deep understanding of Agile software development processes
  • Good problem-solving skills, both identifying and quickly solving
  • Structured software development and software life cycle
  • Good knowledge of C# (can be C++ or Java, but willingness to work with C# is expected)
  • Knowledge of SQL

  • iGaming industry experience
  • Game Development experience
  • Git & TeamCity & Octopus & JIRA
  • Orleans Framework
  • HTML 5/CSS/TypeScript
