As a Game Developer at Play'n GO, you will:
- Conduct requirement analysis, break down and analyze the Game Design into achievable tasks
- Write code that fulfills the features specified in the Game Design
- Write code that fulfills the quality standard of the company
- Identify gaps and potential issues in the Game Design
- Create and maintain tools to automate and simplify the work as much as possible
- Keep code optimized, maintainable and functional
- Write code that complies with the company’s programmers and style guide
- Maintain good and extensive documentation of how to perform the duties and tasks given
- Perform bug correction, identify and resolve bugs found at any step during the product lifecycle and work closely with Quality Assurance
- Remain educated and informed about the latest technology relevant to the product being developed
- Coach and educate colleagues
Our Game Developers MUST have:
- 8+ years software development experience
- 3+ years game development experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Typescript/JavaScript
- Experience with Pixi.js, or other web based graphical frameworks
- Experience with C# and working with .NET
- Experience with the node ecosystem
- Knowledgeable how to set up and use CI/CD
- Experience working with projects using TDD
- Knowledge in Adobe Flash/Animate CC and Adobe Photoshop
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly
- The ability to write clean and maintainable code (Would be good if you can provide samples)
- Experience working with different design patterns and architectures
- Deep understanding of object-oriented principles
- Good experience with SOLID principles
- Good at identifying gaps and providing solutions in the development process
- The ability to work independently on complex tasks, and support others when needed
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical terms for non-technical stakeholder/s, and work cohesively with a team cross functional team (Backend, QA, Designer, Math, Art, Ops, Producer, etc.)
It would be a plus if you have:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with OpenGL/WebGL is a huge plus
- Knowledge about performance optimization in graphics heavy applications
- Knowledgeable on how to use Spine, and/or Blender is a plus
- Knowledge of casino games is a plus
